short: “The support throughout the mentorship has also been incredible. Our weekly calls are always filled with detailed feedback and interesting discussions…”

long: I cannot recommend Krill Interactive mentorships enough. When I started my Lighting mentorship with William, I mainly wanted to improve my portfolio, but I ended up learning far more about lighting and Unreal Engine than I expected.

What makes William such a great mentor is the way he approaches feedback. He doesn't simply tell you what looks wrong or what you should change, he takes the time to explain why something isn't working and how you can approach it differently. Because of this, I've gone from knowing how to set up a basic lighting rig to actually understanding why certain lighting decisions work and why others don't.

The support throughout the mentorship has also been incredible. Our weekly calls are always filled with detailed feedback and interesting discussions, and the additional notes and feedback between sessions make it feel like you're never left figuring things out completely on your own.

Beyond the technical knowledge, William has made the entire process incredibly enjoyable. I've learned more than I expected, grown much more confident in my lighting decisions, and genuinely looked forward to every session.

If you're looking for a mentor who will not only help you improve your work but also teach you how to think about lighting, I couldn't recommend William enough.
